Meetings begin at 2.00 pm.
 
We have speakers at some monthly meetings, and fill in others with parties and quizzes etc.
 
We are a national organisation (http://www.townswomen.org.uk) and are also part of the Plymouth & West Devon Federation (six guilds within the area).

Our club meet  in the  main hall at the Community Centre on the last Wednesday of the month, but not in August and December.

Our meetings start at 7  for 7.15 PM and generally finish about 9 PM.  We normally have a Qualified Demonstrator who demonstrates an average of  six arrangements on the  stage and inspires us all to go home and have a go!  At the end of the demonstration these arrangements are raffled off so you could end up taking one home with you and we always finish the evening with a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.

Occasionally we have a social evening, a workshop or a talk. 

Our annual subscription is  £32 with £1 entry on the evening. If you  do not want to pay the annual subscription you can pay £6 each evening you attend.  If you would like further information about our Club then please  contact the Chairman - Mary Wood on 01752 408055 or alternatively come along one evening where you will receive a warm  welcome.

We vary the activities throughout the year, with speakers, quizzes, competitions, bingo, auctions, and various day trips arranged throughout the year too..  Refreshments are normally provided at our meetings

Plymouth Ballet School is a welcoming school founded by principal, Marina Molero Maltby. Based in Plymouth we offer friendly and accessible Classical Ballet classes for local children and adults. Our school follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus who are recognized internationally and at the forefront of Ballet teaching.
Our timetable is as follows:

1545 - 1745 Grade 4 Ballet (age 11 +)
1745 - 1830 Progressing Ballet Technique (age 10 +)

1830 - 1930 "Silver Swans" (Adult Ballet). This class is specifically designed for adults. If you are looking for a new way to keep fit and active our ballet classes will put a spring in your step.  Whether you've never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, our "Silver Swans" classes have something for everyone.

We hold Saturday evening dances, the dates of which are available when ringing the number below. Admission to all dances £3.00 pp. Come along and enjoy a couple of hours dancing on a beautiful dance floor, listen to good music and enjoy pleasant company.
